In this backyard farm-inspired day camp-style experience, children will get a chance to meet, care, and snuggle with rabbits while also working together to co-create a space of community, play, and curiosity.
Did you know rabbits’ teeth never stop growing? Did you know rabbits build their nests using their fur? Children will learn about rabbit care, behavior, and their significance in nature through an engaging hands-on presentation. They will get up close and personal with live rabbits during our hands-on session and have exclusive snuggle time with the buns.
We’ll let creativity bloom in the courtyard with garden-themed craft activities! Little ones can enjoy sensory play and bubble stations, while older campers can create seed tape, bean mandalas, terrariums, container gardens, herbal tea blends, and more.
Together, we’ll explore practical crafts and skills such as gardening, preserving, kitchen skills, plant medicines, sewing, embroidery, weaving, and crafting. Activities may vary as we cater the experience to the children who show up! Activities may vary as we cater the experience to the children who show up!
Lunch Provided! Kiddos will be invited to the kitchen to create delicious and nutritious picnic lunches and craft lemonades and sweet tea for the group. We’ll make sweet treats like yogurt parfaits with local berries!
